6/02/14 BASE PREPARATION FOR BIKE RUN BEGINS!
Started Tonight with 40mins easy run. will build 10% increase weekly until base reached 2hrs! Will start with BIKE Base @ 1.50Hrs.
End of the Month Round-up.
The GOAL of Swimming +1500m had been ACHIEVED!
On bad days, distance swam = +1200m
ON Best Day = +2500m!!
Average = +1600m! with few seconds breather in between.
In a couple of weeks, I will be able to swim > 1500m without breathers.
Nose Irritation is slowly improving including the swim techniques… which mean less fatigue over long distance.
Next Months game plane, put more focus on BASE PREP’n for bike and run phase plus some PLYOMETRICS.
At the same time put more improvement on Swim distance up to 3Km in a couple of months time!
I am getting there slowly but surely🙂

Swim; low tide swim outside the line barrier.
Employed the new swim technique courtesy of Total Immersion and I found it really worked and less tiring!
DID: 4-300m full laps, 1-300m broken laps, cumulative=+1500m! Some drawback with nose exhale irritation while coursing thru the head waves, and I really needed the nose cap :( I had to jog back to start line to avoid swimming against the waves.
Try for some improvement tomorrow!🙂
